Emergency assistance can vary based upon eligibility and available funds.
Provides financial and educational assistance to members of the air force and their family members.
Interest free loans and grants are provided for needs such as:
* Basic Living expenses
* Emergency travel
* Vehicle expenses
* Funeral expenses
* Child care/respite
* Moving expenses
* Miscellaneous expenses
Education programs include:
* Education grants for service members, veterans and dependents of eligible Airmen
- Assistance with community resources
- Adults with disabilities
- Children and/or youth with disabilities
Active duty and retired Air Force members and their dependents are eligible for Air Force Aid Society assistance, as are the dependents of deceased Air Force personnel who died on active duty or in retired status.
